Is the wood real walnut or is it a photo laminate particle board? I assume the plate is gold anodized aluminum with laser engraving.

Default type of plaque and lettering process

The plaque is a regular board made of wood and has a laminated wood finish for a cover. The printing is done with a sublimation process. The detail is very fine as compared to a laser where the fine details might not show up quite as well. if you would like solid walnut board let me know. I can provide it for an additional cost.
Thanks;
Charlie
