Photos of the tool. It's technically for the 1907 British bayonet but works just fine. Like I said it's a beefy tool so we can always try and break the nuts loose.

That thing is robust! I've found one for sale online, but they want $35. Let me keep looking around, but I might take you up on your offer.

Did you get the screws loosened on the bayonet?
