Default Question for a M1 bayonet expert

I just received a M1 bayonet and have very little experience with them. I have searched through all of the bayonet points articles etc. and have not found an example like this one. Where the blade is attached to the guard with the pins, it looks different, curious if this may have been through a rebuild, ( original 10" and not a cut down ) I have several pics to send via E-mail if anyone is interested in giving me their opinion, Thanks

I have three EN-S marked M-1's that are pinned and a cut down PAL that is pinned. If you look very closely at Bayonet Points 2 you can see an example with pins. I think that is normal.

I recommend you set up a free Imgur account, then study this sticky to post pictures here.
