Default MyGunDB Android Version

Questions:

1. Can I input information separately into the Android version (ASUS Transformer Infinity), and into the desktop version (Windows), and then sinc the two databases into one?

2. I am inputting rifles into the Android version. When I went to sort the rifles, a "By Serial Number" option was not offerred.

Thank you!

Yes, you can -- there are import/export sync options in the desktop and mobile versions.

I've never had a request for sorting via serial number -- if others want it, I can add it in pretty easily though. Any other sort methods you use regularly?

I collect Garands, and it would be useful to sort by SN.

I'm not sure it would be useful for the average person owning guns.

Excel allows a sort by multiple columns - Gun Type (ex. Garand, Carbine, Krag), then manufacturer, then SN.

I realize this may be in the "more trouble than it's worth" section. You can't be all things to all people.

Thanks!

Well, adding a new sort method is easy for that, actually. I'll look into adding it for an upcoming release.
