I - I just can't understand the pompousness and GALL of someone like her, thinking they have the right to try and inflict their thinking on millions of innocent people! She should be tarred, feathered, and ridden out of town on a rail.

Not to pick a fight, but he waited until 20 six and seven-year olds plus six teachers & staff were slaughtered by a psycho with a fast-firing rifle with a big mag. There were quite a number of similar mass shooting the past four years, but these were first graders for Christ-sake! How more innocent can you get?

I am in our corner and I want to keep my carbines, but all we need to remember that a growing percentage of this great country of ours simply does not understand our fascination for things that go boom repeatedly. Calling them names doesn't do much for our side.

Deer kill more people per year than mass shooters.

We in California have no input with Feinstein. I have sent many messages to her, she could care less. Her personal wealth is so much she doesn't know what she is worth. Little people mean nothing to her, she is a "Big Picture" person. This is going to be a tough fight.

So what is your point? What exactly are you saying? I don't care how many people some person kills with cars, do you get rid of cars? How about televisions? Skiing? Alcohol? Porn?

Are you one who blames inanimate objects? Heck, the automobile isn't even protected under the Constitution, guns are. The Federal government does not have one single ounce of Constitutional power to regulate guns, it is a State matter and States must also adhere to the Constitution. I don't mind legal gun control, like making background checks mandatory on all sales, but you must first amend the Constitution to say so background checks are a Federal matter.

I question your sincerity, please comfort me.

Bottom line would any of these purposed Bans stopped the shooting in Conn.? Nope. Only thing that might have stopped him was Mom preventing him access to her guns or an armed officer/official in the school.

I blame an inanimate object, but not a firearm. I blame the psychotropics he was placed on, just like the majority of the other mass shooters are on or have been on.

How "old" is the old girl? Should be "retired", however they die in office.
