Default M1 Carbine Auction

CMP will be out of M1 Carbines (Service Grade, Field Grade and M1A1 Paratroopers) by the end of the year. I just wanted to let you all know. I am the CMP auctioneer for the carbines.

I believe you, because you have cmp in your name.

I will be continuing to post one Service Grade and an M1A1 a week. With Field grade randomly in there. There are far less Field grades left.

oh, come on, do a lottery system for 10 M1A1's - that would be cool, I'd fork over $1500 for a real one

$1500...humm. I think you might be paying a wee bit more than that if there were only 10 left.

Hey, he said he "would fork over $1500 for one". So I bid $1501. With them currently going for between $3000 and $9000, I doubt if I will be getting one.

Good point Ohio Don.

I've been watching them in the auctions over the last month or so. The M1A1 prices are a little "rich" for my blood.

I am very pleased with the M1 Carbine I won at auction a couple weeks ago. The price I paid was a bit more reasonable...at least reasonable to me.
