Hello all,
I was told that EIC matches can be held on a 200 yard reduced course, but I can't find that in the rulebook anywhere. Does anyone have a definitive answer to this? Can rifle EIC matches be held on a 200 yard reduced range? |

No, The only waiver is for the 600 yard slow fire.
From the rule book: The CMP may authorize the fourth stage to be fired at 500 yards for EIC matches other than the National Trophy Matches, if a 600-yard range is not available. The 600-yard MR target is used if firing is done at 500 yards.

Okay thanks. I'm not sure how that rumor started, but I guess it isn't true.

The only 200 yard EIC matches are SAFS @ Perry and the EIC matches held by CMP in conjunction with their SAFS / Marksmanship 101 courses (held @ travel games & other CMP run events). These are 4 point EIC matches and points can only be earned by ND shooters who have zero (0) EIC points.
