Default Beyond 17,000+

Once the 17,000+ orders have been filled [assuming there is 10,000 coming in each year], will we have to start over with a new lottery? Maybe in 3 years from now there will be people old enough to buy a 1911 that werent old enough to register. Was the purpose of the lottery this time to keep the herd form stampeding the store? Maybe by then all the excitement will have died down and they can be sold like the Garands are now.

1. Once ALL orders are filled we will again offer what is left for sale.
2. There will never be a "STORE FRONT" store as CMP & CMP 1911 operate under 2 sets of rules.

Soooo... for folks that didn't meet the deadline for the lottery and have since regretted that decision... will there be another opportunity to submit an order for a pistol? (Assuming there's more pistols than current orders?)

Or am I in a "you snooze, you lose" situation?

Once all orders are filled and if we still have some 1911's will will re-start the process. THIS MAY TAKE SEVERAL YEARS, so watch the web site.

The odds are that some CMP 1911s will end up being sold by their new owners (for any number of reasons), so you may be able to get one that way too.

That's the only I will get one in Mass. Hoping to hear from somebody looking to move a rack grade.
