They exist alright. Of the original 500, approx. 140 are believed to exist today. (Plus the fakes.)

I think a bunch of fakes - I wouldn't mind owning one, but owning one when I could own, 2-3 of each one in high 90's condition for less than the price of one Singer - seems silly (says the guy who purposely bought a 1926 Simson luger, because I had to have one)
