I made this one out of some scrap material. The key-way doesn't do anything.
You have to clear the barrel off for it to work. (just the sight blade and not the front base)
The ID is just large enough to slip over the front portion of the action. When you barrel on you have to de-vise and slide it off the front.

Some string pulling going on here that goes back through the peep. Before you solder, blend the base where it meets the barrel to make it look right.
This repop base didn't fit the dovetail because it was too long. Keeping it tight for length when you blend it at the corners will keep it from getting crooked.

With a homemade wrench like this when you apply torque your doing it to the mag box side up front where the hinge pin enters. The better the lug fits the curved recess the better off you are. Its curved so you want it to fit well towards the rear of the action not bear where all that hardened machine work is. The handle on the wrench is small for a reason. C clamp an old no 1 barrel to it so nothing gets broke. That flat part must be good for something instead of a bunch of stamps and it will keep you out of trouble.
