Default 1911 Arrived

Picked up my 1911 from my FFL today. He received it last Friday but I have been out of town.

They are a very dark brown
Looks like it’s been in a holster but looks like it’s right out of rework
Look forward to doing some research to check if the receiver is also Remington
It’s also got an A 9 80 to the right of the s/n

It does look like a 1945 Remington Rand receiver as well as the upper
Be interesting to look at the internal parts to see if any have been replaced

That thing looks Great. Im hoping my first 1911 that I have in hand is the same as what I qualified and used in the Core. I have eagerly been waiting. What ever Grade it is I will be happy. Thanks for the pics Jarhead.
