I was at the SS three weeks ago and there were quite a few FGs there in great shape. The stocks were not beat up, were walnut & in nice shape. I couls not see why the meatl was graded FG. I measures several bores that could have been graded SG.

WVminer...u got that right. Recently took Amtrak from Salisbury NC to Atlanta....4-5 hr car trip....8 hrs via Amtrak. No complaints bout qual of railcars, but the tracks were so bad it was a constant shaking side to side.
Still, it was cheap...$41. Only good thing was I picked up a Smart car there and hoofed over to CMP and found a nice late nearly all Win carbine. Rack grade, minor surface rust spots that cleaned up easily, muz gauge 1+. Only had to put on a Win stock I had on hand, swap for win guard, slide, recoil plate & butt plate.
