Default Carbine stock marked P-J in sling well?

Pedersen Brothers for Underwood. Sometimes there will be odd looking swirl marks in the slingwell of their stocks. Also, sometimes fakers with turn the P-J into a P-U and add a fake Underwood cartouche.
