I have been using the Tac-Pro " because" it requires no holes. Many of my stocks are presentation grade walnut and I would like to keep them in decent condition.



The Tac-Pro is first class all the way and does not mar a stock whatsoever. One of the most stable risers anywhere.

OK. Thanks to everyone for making me aware of the "no drill" model. That looks like it may be the way to go.

nf1e, that is a beautiful stock. Mine has the figuring flowing with the length of the stock and not vertical "tiger" stripes like yours.

That's what it is all about Sir. Sharing the results of research and testing.
I personally went through a number of different risers before I found one stable enough for my type of shooting that wouldn't screw up a stock.
