Default Fabrique Nationale 1910 Early (pre WW1)

I have for sale a nice Pre WW1 early production FN 1910 chambered in 9mm Kurz (.380acp). Serial number 14828 manufactured 1912/1913.

An FN M1910, serial number 19074, chambered in .380 ACP was the handgun used by Gavrilo Princip to assassinate Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in Sarajevo on June 28, 1914, the act that precipitated the First World War.

A neat little pistol with a neat history. Notice mine has a serial approx. 5000 prior to the infamous one used to assassinate the Archduke.

This finish has a good bit of wear but overall in good condition with all markings clearly legible. if this link does not work, I can email them to you.

I am unsure of the value, but I am asking $500 for this pistol.

How reliable is it and what is the condition of the bore?

The bore is pretty nice overall. There is a few spots, but nothing of any major consequence. Might even clean up better with some use but I have not have not shot this pistol yet so I cannot speak to its reliability. The action is tight and very slick as you would expect from an FN.

this pistol was not well stored. it came to me looking like it was left in a humid environment and had some spotty surface corrosion that cleaned up nice with pitting to the steel, but did leave its mark in the blued finish. I tore it down and gave it a good cleaning, I may break it down again and try and clean it up even more but I don't really mind it the way it is. After all its 105 yrs old.
