alpha 6, I just rec'd my SP too. It is ser# 2111824 which I think is Dec 43. Also came in a FAT stock, which is sound but handguard badly split through two of the four rivets. Will have to find a replacement before it falls off! Also is mixed parts but some are right, like 11/43 Underwood barrel; Laminated stamped BE B trigger ******'y is right; rest pretty much mixed. Rockola flat bolt w/SG extractor, IBM firing pin; Rockola hammer; winchester sear and mag release; Underwood .U. Op-Slide. JAO rear sight; front not marked. The flip safety looks like an M or a W in a circle - don't know what that is. Even though this was a Rack Grade, MW was only 1.0, great crown and bore great. Guess the stock brought it down to RG otherwise I would have thought SG.

Your rear sight is not a post war piece, however,it was placed on your gun during a refurb or rebuild.
Your hammer is not a post war piece, however,it is a replacement ordnance contract part.
If the Y on the slide is on the bottom of the slide, look inside the the box for underlined PI.

I got a Std Pro. racker too. No Std. Pro. parts on board. MW 3. Packed in cosmo. M2 birch stock. Thought we had churned through all the FAT stocks by now.

My apologies I was using Riesh's 5th ed p.180, some of my info was outdated.
