Default Source for a demilled, non-functioning M1911

I am looking for a demilled (non-functioning) M1911 to be used to create a trophy for a marksmanship match. I would appreciate any information you may have on a source where I could procure such an item.

Thanks in advance.

I cannot tell you where to find a demilitarized 1911/1911A1 but have you considered an 80% frame instead of a demilitarized frame? I have no experience with any of these companies but here are a few links to 80% frames.

Get a replica. You know the holster dealers at gun shows? They have the cast resin copies of everything; they are not hard to find, and not hard to make. Also a good airsoft is not expensive and will look the part fine, for a trophy.
All will be cheaper than a demil.
Look for Blue Gun 1911; ebay and amazon will be a start.

While an 80% frame is a good idea, by the time you do enough work to make it look like a 1911 (drill holes for all the parts like trigger and hammer), even though you don't intend for it to fire, you will probably enter into the legal nether lands. 80% is legally not a gun. But if drilling a tole for the hammer makes it 81%, even if you use a drywall screw, it may not make a good trophy.
Just a thought.......

Good idea to get legal advice on the Forum.

Thanks for the help. 80% frame won't do the trick. Resin won't either. Replica might be the way to go.

Thanks.

The airsoft's look pretty good, at least the port side--if the
goofy muzzle bushing comes off.

This one looks even better--
