Default would you rather have.....

Need some help i have the opportunity to trade my Inland SG for a IBM rack grade to my friend. my inland has a lot of inland parts that are semi correct to include a two rivet handguard and a m1 stock. the IBM is a poster child for mixmasters and has a m2 stock. let me know your opinions. This is a hard decision.

In my opinion, keep the Inland. It's not like you're trading it for an IP or Winchester...I think you're better off with what you have but that's just my 2 cents.

Question is what is important to YOU? Is one a better shooter? Does one have a connection to a family member? (Like an uncle that worked for GM?). Are you considering swapping solely on collector's value? Your choice should be based on your value system, not ours... you are the one that has to clean it, shoot it, preserve it, store it....

Just my two cents....

My question also. Owning an IBM I am always a little partial to them, but by your discription the Inland sounds like a nicer rifle.

I have several Carbines....IBM's and Inlands in the mix.....my first Inland was my grandfathers.....I think it's a DCM he had for probably 40 years....Im a little partial to the Inland....but thats just me. I still stand behind my first post, your Inland, with mostly correct parts sounds, from a collector standpoint, like a keeper. As a shooter, it doesn't matter....if you're shopping for a lable, then its all up to you.
