Default 1903A3's

Thanks to you both and others who might reply. Looks like I am SOL. The 03A3 is the last model that I am looking for. It is so far and all I have is this forum to look for them. I was off the net the last couple of days and missed the initial post. Darn my luck. Again, thanks.

On Friday at opening time there was not a long line, nor was it busy. I expect that Saturday should not be any different, but I could end up being wrong.

BUT.....I probably (might) come up empty handed. Gas costs (for my gas guzzler) would eat me and my retired budget right up.

I grabbed a beautiful Winchester special on Friday serial number 123471. excellent 03 a3 were out but I purchased one before and funds are low for me. then I heard them deny a customer waiting on his paperwork because he purchased one before. now there is a limit of one per customer period, even if 20 years later they said.

Thanks for the info on the limit. It would suck to drive from Wisconsin and find that out.

Another great reason to always call before you go.

This is not what I had heard from the guys at the counter. What they told me was that there is a limit of one rifle per grade for a customer in one of the stores, until a new truck shipment comes in, then you again have a limit of one per grade till the next truck comes in, but, that same person could purchase the rest of the yearly allotted purchases via the normal mail in method.

When they had 1903A3's in February I thought there was a sign above the 03A3's rifles with the price that also said.."One per year". It seems they are now one per lifetime!..

maybe for the different grades of m1s but the 03 a3 its one period. this customer had bought one a year ago and was denied another because of a limit
