Default My First M1 Carbine and first mil surp!

This is my first milsurp a boomer made me pay top dollar for at a gun shop. But im happy with her !

You seem to have done quite well. Does the barrel band have a letter "C" on the left side and is it centered in the middle of the band, or is it sitting low?

what do you consider "top dollar"?
