Default Pets at the south store

Are pets allowed on the grounds (or just in the car) at the south store? I'm on vacation with my dog and would like to make stop at the store. Thanks for the help...POG

If your dog is a yappy little ankle biter the critter would not be welcomed, but if just a sweet old thing that loves everyone I'd just take him or her in. Doubt anyone would say a thing. There is no carpet and the place is about as plain as plain can be and they would know you dog isn't going to steal something.

If someone is looking at leaving a pet in the car in Anniston in the summer for any length of time, I'd probably fly out there just to... better I not finish that thought.

My advice would be finding a daycare spot for it while you are browsing.

I was last there in July 2009. Traveling from Texas to NC. Left my wirehaired fox terrier tied to the bench with water and food. He was in the shade. He or they had no problem. He is the friendly member of the family. Did go out several times to check on him.

That's what I'd do...tie him up in the shade with some water.

Last year, we brought our big old 80 pound bundle of love into the South Store. She loved, and was loved by, everyone. No problems whatever. Being properly housebroken is a definitely a plus. The only concern voiced by anyone concerning dogs was making sure boy dogs don't lift a leg on a gunrack. "If he pees on it, you bought it".

I've brought my rat terrier many times and left him in the car with the air running, doors locked. I always bring an extra key so I can do that. I've traveled all over the US with my dog and that's how we're able to do it.
