Default A1 stock compartment insert thingy

Hi guys,

I want to try using the A1 stock for a shorter length of pull. I was surfing around and it sounds like the Cavalry A1 stock looks like a good option. However, it doesn't seem to have the compartment insert thingy which I'm going to need in order to put in the buttstock weights. Would my A2 insert thing fit the A1? If not, where can I get one for it?
thanks for any help!

They don't exist, and you'd have to cut down an A2 weight. when I weighted one, I put a sack of shotgun shot pellets in there and packed the rest of the open space with plastic grocery store bags. Worked good enough to shoot high master scores.

Numrich sells used GI A1 stocks. Much better than the commercial version.

ditto the shot, I put a baggy of some mixed up #8's and 7-7/2's I received in an estate, then sealed the end with some silicone to keep any from coming out,

tamped them down a few times to make sure they don't shift or 'rattle'

I got my A1 stock from Fulton armory anf the a2 cleaning kit insert did not fit. However a bag full of blem bullets works for a weight. If your weird like me and like to pick through the berm at the range to find cool deformed slugs, you could even use those.
