Default First M1a

Picked up my birthday present to myself on the way home last night. Born on 11/11/2019 per the armorers tag. The decision of the day is...which stock? Black factory, realtree camo, usgi desert camo or usgi walnut?

Just shoot it like it is. Stock decision will fill itself in over time.

Art has it right, you have to shoot it first to know. Mine shoots equally well in SAI Walnut and the SAI polymer stock. The polymer stock makes it a nice truck gun, no worries about dinging the walnut stock.

Happy Birthday! Nice rifle I like it. No need for "desert camouflage" here in CT. USGI walnut gets my vote.

You have to have a walnut stock, but over time, you'll end up getting several stocks if your anything like the rest of us.

They can be extremely accurate. I prefer the wood look but thats just me.
I took my 2009 std out yesterday after about 4 months and put all 6 shots in the black at 100yds with iron sights. This was cold barrel right out of the case. Mine tends to open up the group a little after warmup. That is about the best I can do at 69!
