Default M1 Lend Lease Question

Gentlemen,
I have a down payment on this rifle and want opinions prior to fully negotiating a price.
I believe this is a right as rain lend lease M1. It is FULL of grease and still retains the red stripe and 300 stencil. Has the proper cartouches and a 10-41 barrel stamp along with the British bnp proofs and an 11-41 receiver serial. I simply can't find anything wrong with it that would indicate it's been tampered with.
Give me your opinions please and I'll complete this transaction. I think it's a good one.

Pictures to follow

Any pic of internals? Oprod looks flat? GHS looks too crisp.

In my limited opinion, it looks good. Not positive about the cartouche, but I am still learning.

I'm taking pics of the internals tomorrow.

Rifle is slathered inside with grease which you can see in the pics. If I buy it will cleaning the metal devalue the gun or should I just leave it the way it is.

I'm sorry, but I don't like the look of the paint. It looks to "pinkish". The pictures of originals I've seen the paint is a much deeper red, and also not streaked.

I'll take more pics tomorrow in outside ambient light. It's a deep brick red maybe the camera is tweaking it in the fluorescent lighting

From what I have read and I'm no expert but there were a few types/colors used and 2 different ways the 300 was written, one stenciled the other written around the hand guard.

But I'll get more pics

That gun is fine, the oprod is curved and the cartouche is 100% IMO, looks like the die jumped on the ordinance emblem or it was double struck.
Just my opinion. Rick B will hopefully stop by to give you the final word on it.

I've got a lend lease Remington M1903 and the paint color looks about the same as the OP's.
