Default Official IHC Serial Numbers thread

Guys,

As you know BRUTUS (aka Jeff P) started the original thread and maintained it. He has since decided to exit the garand collecting hobby and has also sold virtually all of his garands. I talked to him about if he was going to keep updating his thread and he suggested that I do it.

So, if none of you guys have a problem with it, I'll update the information as you post it here or email me and we can keep this thread going.

I think I have updated everything that was posted to the old sticky thread. If I've missed something please let me know.

I'm thankful to BRUTUS for starting the original thread and keeping it maintained for as long as he did!

Wayne Gandy

Could the data be spread into columns so that all items in a column can be viewed quickly and compared?
Thanks.

abeal, WOOFTFD,WoodyWagon, and SA-M1 your info has been added.

Hawky - I think your suggestion is a good one. I'll work on pulling the data into Excel and then get it into a neater format. Thanks for the suggestion!

Wayne

Help needed getting list data posted in a more easily read format!

I imported the data into excel, cleaned up the data, formated it to look nice and easily read. Tried using the cut and paste into the thread and found out all the columar formating was lost. Tried using Word, same result. Talked to Darthnip and he suggested I get it into an image format that could be posted like a picture. I copied and pasted the data into "Paint" program and saved as a JPG (image file). Uploaded a small portion to Photobucket and posted in the Test forum here. Font was too small but it held its columar formating. Reformated the data using larger font. Saved as jpg and repeated posting steps. Now the entire list appears so small you'd need a microscope to read it!!!!! HELP!!!
