Smile What about GunsAmerica?

Question for those on the Forum who have any information about GunsAmerica.com...came across the name while browsing last evening...care to comment on how GunsAmerica compares to GunBroker.com? Any insight would be welcome...would rather subscribe to only one and I'm researching which is better. Thanks to all.

Whether one is better than the other is a matter of opinion, but they are different in how they're run.
Gunbroker is an auction site, unlike Gunsamerica where sellers list the price they want to get. It's probably not a bad idea to watch both, especially if looking for something in particular.
There's also auctionarms.com, which is an auction site like GB. Not a bad idea to also include that one.

If there is something in particular you are looking for you can use: ebang.com

It is a search engine geared towards the other gun sales/auction sites. One thing I did notice while using it, in some cases, it will bring up auctions/sales that have been closed. Seems to happen with some items on Gunsamerica.

Happy hunting!

Not any ammo (or much) for me on gunsamerica.com, I thought it was the best out there myself, until I found gunbroker.com
Can't wait for the next biggie
I just cruise around the internet hoping beyond hope for ammo...

I've yet to have a good experience on Gunsamerica. I use Gunbroker exclusively now.

I've found that AuctionArms seems to have much lower traffic in general, which means that it's a rough place to sell stuff but when I'm buying the prices are a lot better than GunBroker.

Werda, I agree that prices seem to be lower and better for the potential buyer on Auction Arms.

I am a moderator on the Gun Broker forums so I am biased to that site, but I really think that you get the same level (or more) of traffic over on the Gun Broker auctions as the other two sites combined.

Default Changes at Gunbroker

Did you make some changes to the site? I used to be able to click on a box that gave you several choices like, highest price, highest number of bids, shortest time left, and several more. I don't see this anymore.

I am a forum moderator and don't have anything to do with the auction software but there is a new VERSION 4 software system up and running and while it added some new features it also eliminated others.
