When I looked the IHC racks were rough, some 40’s barrels though. There was a nice IHC SG though with a 64 barrel

Thanks. I bought a IHC rack there over weekend and someone was quoting different prices. Got a IHC rack, TE 11-64 with a real nice ‘64 barrel, 0+/1+. Stock needed some oil but think it could have passed for a field easy. The rifle was under the service grade sign but marked as a rack grade.

Oh you got that one, nice! Congrats on that rifle, I spotted it over the weekend and figured it wouldn’t last long.

Yeah, cleaned up real well, bore is a mirror. Surprised it was still there in that condition, most of the rack grades looked really bad.

Was there any pitting? Good score. I cherish my 60's barrels.

Surprisingly no pitting, bore cleaned up very well. Even the chamber after after cleaning off a bunch of caked on crud is bright and shiny. Barrel is almost new, don’t think it was shot much after rebuild. Can’t wait to try some longer distance shooting at end of the month. For the price I was happy, IHC selection was rough overall , other than some nice gap numbers.
