Received my SA service grade from CMP a couple of weeks ago and am really pleased. Also ordered and received a can of Fairtrimmers but can't seem to find the time to apply it.

She is a beauty. Receiver dated Jan '43 and barrel dated 5-52. She will go to the range today to show her stuff. Not much cleaning needed to prepare her for her first date. Love her already.

Here are my 2 new additions in a very rare patch of afternoon sunlight. Cleaned, lubed, and 3 coats of pure Tung oil. I threw a repro sling on the 5.48mil for the pic.



I've only had a chance to play with the 1.74mil once. After we got acquainted with each other I shot this group (100 yards, SR-1 target, HXP ammo, prone slow-fire):

HRA Service grade picked from the North store. MW 1.5 TE less than 2. All HRA except trigger group, bolt and stock (SA).
