Does any one know if the federal ammo that is marked "for use in the M1 Garand" actually properly loaded as advertised? What are your experiences with this ammo?

If you doubt it, call them and ask.

Don't have the equipment for timing it, but put a couple of boxes of the Garand Federal through my M1 with no issues.

+1 to what the other poster said... either call them or send an email expressing your concerns. They are a good company and I am sure you will get a response asap.

A few months ago a guy at the range was running some of his hand loads thru a Chronograph. He also had a NM Garand that he used to compare HXP, LC & some of the Federal Ammo.

While I donít have the specifics, he said the new Federal fell right in-between LC & HXP.

Iíve personally never tried it but I hear allot of good things concerning performance, price is another issue.

I can't imagine a company like Federal, in this day and time, not properly representing their product.
