+1 on a rental car

I have an '05 Mustang as well and would not want to be driving it on the OH Turnpike when a February or March storm kicks up. The lake effect can create pretty bad snow storms.

Good luck!

And as Ohio has had mostly snow and cold temps for the last 3 weeks, it would also make for slick roads. Friday run to the backwoods areas of Logan, Ohio found some roads covered with a layer of ice.

Find a rental car with AWD if possible. Costs a little in MPG but it would still do better than the Mustang by about twice as good.

Done it several times to each, 6 hrs. to the South Store and 9 hrs. to the North Store.

You could always sit on the couch and then in your later years "wish" you had taken him.....

You might want to consider rentaing a fuel efficient car.

Have made the trip many times over the years from Md. and will do it again. Always love talking to other collectors and the staff. Best to make the trip when they have something in stock.
Planning another once the weather lets up. Hate those snowy trips on the turnpike through the mountains.

No fun on I-68 either if you go through Cumberland during a snow storm. Wait, going thru Cumberland is never fun no matter the weather. 40 MPH speed limit on an Interstate? What were they thinking?

I drove 7-8 hours from eastern PA to the NS two years ago and came back with three rifles..

Well worth the trip, but try and arrange it so you go when they have had a recent delivery if you can.
