Helping a fellow M1 enthusiast who has a problem with a tanker op rod. The dovetail is worn and the op rod jumps out of the receiver track when fired.
1. Does anyone know someone who can repair this? 2. Does anyone have a new op rod? 3. Does anyone know someone who will convert a good, standard length op rod to a tanker? Thanks a bunch! |

+1 on Jim. He does tanker rods. I sent him a standard length rod that needed a new piston. Had him shorten it to tanker length and rebend it, plus solder on new pistol. $90 included shipping.
Post a pic. There are those of us here who never get tired of looking at tankers! Last edited by tankerG; 02-11-2010 at 06:42 PM. |
