Default Just a thought

I switched from imr to accurate 4064 based on my perception it was a slightly finer grain. I have found it meters better. Anyone else use accurate?

It varies. Hodgdon's print manual from about 15 years ago said they keep IMR powders to 5% of their nominal burn rates and their ADI powders (Extreme line of rifle powders) to 3%. I understand Valleyfield said (around 2012?) the traditional IMR process was too expensive to continue using and they were changing it, so I don't know how tight they are holding it today. You could call Hodgdon to ask.

Regarding the OP, in this instance, it sounds like he discovered smaller grains, being lighter, just stick to the lid more easily than larger ones do.
