Default Modifying a Springfield TRP for EIC Matches

Last time I shot competitions, the rules were a lot tighter about which pistols qualified as 'service pistols' for the EIC matches. The Springfield TRP I have didn't meet the requirements at the time (beavertail safety, extended safety, full-length recoil guide, etc), but reading through the more recent rule changes, it looks like it could be pretty easily modified to compete now.

Here's the product page and specifications sheet (PDF) for the TRP.

Other than changing the rights from Trijicon to plain adjustable sights and replacing the grips with a set that doesn't have a thumb rest, what else would I need to modify to make this gun EIC-ready?

Thanks for any guidance. I'm looking forward to getting back to competition!

Doing those two things should do it. Just make sure that the trigger will pick up four pounds.

Thanks for the reply. Trigger should be good. Supposed to be 4.5 to 5 lb from the factory, but I'll make sure before I take it to a competition.
