Default M1903a3

Just wanted to sing the praises of the Custom Shop for a moment. Sent them my Rem 1903A3 for some work to be done. I had them rebarrel it with a NOS RA barrel, reparkerized, and a new stock. I had planned on reusing the original stock but sadly the wood was cracked around the recoil lug. It turned out great! Hats off to the Custom Shop!

P.S. Hurricane Matthew is unfortunately keeping me from heading to the range...

Nice. They just did a rifle for me; they subcontract the parkerizing and bluing work to a local vendor, who does first rate work for them. My stock was cracked around the recoil lug too, but I was able to repair it.

I toured the custom shop when I attended the AMC. Their facility is first rate and saw a number of rifles they had worked on before they were packed and shipped. They all looked brand new. The metal finishing plant is near by and they do a first rate job refinishing the rifles.

Great looking rifle, and the Type-C stock is much more comfortable to shoot than the straight grip stock. Enjoy your new shooter !!!
