Agreed, doing the same for my Son's Ruger.

Their adjustable sight is junk.

That's why I'll never give up my MK II. It will hold the white at 25 and 50 yds all day long. Even weak handed.

I was going to say the Volquartsen rear sight is in stock for the Ruger Mark III but now they are gone. Backorder is ok on Midway for now. I got mine this week and will try it out soon.

Lol; the adj. rear sight on my Mk.II was so tight, I couldn't drift it even with the set screw completely removed. Had to turn the job over to my local gunsmith. :-)
