Last year everyone fired Rock River NM rifles, scores were pretty good.

I shot the M16 EIC a few years ago we used the actual M16's. We were told anyone who fires a 3 shot burst would be DQ'd and asked to leave the range. The M16's were well used and some had issues with the Hornady match ammo. Scores really went up after the switch to RRA NM rifles.

Not trying to threadjack here but I have a question - is the SAFS at Perry the only school with a special EIC M16 match? In other words, the SAFS at the Eastern Games for this year does not have a special M16 EIC match?

There was one at the Western Games in 2013.

The 2014 schedule lists the SAFS and match........ They have always held the match after the school. Good Shooting.....

I'm wondering if it's an EIC match though.

I dont think it's a normal EIC but a intro match that you can still earn 4 points in.

Right--the real EIC match is at the end of the Creedmore matches on May 11th. The intro match goes with the SAFS on May 2nd and replaces the old M1 Special EIC. Good Shooting.......

SAFS (at least at CP) is a intro 4 leg point match. Anyone with leg points already do not qualify to earn any and the top 10% of non EIC point holders earn the one time 4 points. CMP course B (4 stages with 400 aggregate) all shot at 200 on SR targets.
