Default .22 Cal Garand

Check out www.Kingstonarmory.com. I saw one of their M1 Garand .22 rifles at a Field & Stream store. It made me do a double take. I thought I was seeing things with a new Garand for under $700 until I saw the caliber.

Default Looks like Ruger 10/22 receiver

No rotating bolt nor loading from the top with an enbloc. It's still cool though.

I think they took way to long to get these out. I heard about them 2plus years ago. At that time I most likely would have bought one even at their high price...now not so much.
Maybe I can snag one used in a few years.

Default 22 m1

Some of these were sold at Camp Perry on vendors row.
I believe they were taking orders.
I asked lady that seemed to be in charge if there were any data available on how well these rifles shot.
She had no info.
So if you happened to be one of those who did purchase.
How does it shoot and function?

It looks like a ruger 10/22 action form the limited view I can see.
