Got a couple fiberglass from GPC (Numrich) earlier in the fall. The ones I received appeared unissued, with all metal. Unfortunately, they were improperly stored and the metal was all rusty--some needing a minor cleanup, some heavily pitted or otherwise unserviceable. Still not bad if you get them with a coupon since they were less than $20 as is.

I just bought a Treeline/Freds birch stock for $59.00. I had it within a week and it was so nice I could have put a receiver in it as is. I stripped it 3 times, steamed out a couple of small dents, lightly sanded and steel wooled, 2 coats of stain and 2 coats of tung.

Anyone would be proud to have their piece cradled in this stock now.

Nice DAS and P also.

Oh yeah it's an SA issue stock from Sacks Inc. circa mid 1960s which is great as the M14 I have is ALL SA USGI parts except the receiver which is SA INC.

I'd go for a Treeline. I'm fixin to order another one but a walnut this time.

The parts come out of a warehouse in Vermont so you know.

I see they charged my card so it looks like next week for me. I'll post pics when I get them.
