Those were purchased at Camp Perry from Fulton 8/7/2013 so they are what I would consider fairly recent production. I hated that wide operating rod rail from the get go.
You can see by the heel stamp why I went back to LRB and Bula Defense Systems receivers.
In my opinion, if it looks like crap, it probably is.

Just for comparison, here are a couple of Bula's that joined the herd for about the same price and these are hammer forged.

Just trying to understand things here. So you are saying that Fulton receivers are crap?

Not at all. I think they are a great start for someone to build on. What I meant is the heel stamps themselves look like and in my book are crap, not the receivers. One can always stick some duct tape over the heels. Humor.

I have a Fulton receiver on my CMP parts build M14 rifle. I never had any issue with the Fulton, but if I had to do it over again, I would have gotten another brand. Not for any quality issues but for the wide op rod which I didn't care for either. Other than that, no problems at all with it.

Jon Wolfe M14 Parts and Armory LLC is their distributor. As far as price for a standard you would have to ask.
I have been buying the Camp Perry specials at the games during the Summer and they have been going for the same as a Fulton.

I have Fulton Reciever 00131 and it looks just fine to me,Nothing wrong with the stamp or the quality and the Finish matched my CMP A-Kit finish perfectly.. Fulton makes a nice Reciever
