Default Why Sunday AM ONLY for EIC matches ?

After CMP Talladega opened I was excited. I had for decades wanted to get into service rifle competition. Nowhere accessible had matches!

I shot the inaugural JCG matches, and attended a seminar, but didn't shoot the EIC match due to it being Sunday AM.
Aquired a RRA service rifle, everything but a $$$ spotting scope, as most of my shooting is at Talladega with electronic targets.

Even EIC matches at Ft Gordon, and RiverBend are ALL on Sunday am.
You don't get "points" for OTC800 matches.
No monthly "club" matches held at Talladega that I'm aware of for '17. Only Memorial Day weekend and Dixie 600 scheduled for '17.
EIC Sunday am, of course!

Must you be an "unbeliever" to shoot EIC?
How about some Saturday am (or any other day except Sunday?)
Might just increase participation!!

Get zeros on Friday and Saturday, then shoot Sunday for score.

I believe the NTI is on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

Each location has their own schedule.
I've shot CMP matches on week days and both days on the weekend at different matches.
Contact the match director for clarification.
There may be Saturday conflicts that cause the date.

If you can make the Vermont CMP New England Games in Sept. 2017, the EIC Rifle match is Thursday 9/21 - 8:00 a.m.
A lot of the EIC matches in general do fall on Sundays, as they're often scheduled at the end of whatever matches they're a part of.

I feel your pain! Luckily there is a church in my area that has a 7:45 pm mass.

I have the option to attend Monday evening service when matches fall on a Sunday.

But you are right the standard generally is 80 on Saturday for zeroes Leg on Sunday. Not convenient for the Christian who wishes to worship in Sunday.

There will be a Rifle EIC (500agg) match Friday of the D-day match @ the TMP. I don't like shooting on Sunday, but every once and a while I will. Even preachers take a vacation.. I know mine does.
Just notice the time I posted this message. 03:16
