Default SPS Promo Code

For Handloader Magagazine subscribers, per ad in Handloader Magazine April 2017, 15% off + free shipping PROMO Code: HNDLDR16

It doesn't say how long it's good for.

Non-subscribers, please pretend you didn't see this and move along...

Either the code is not effective yet, or it was posted incorrectly.

I just double checked, and the promo code in the ad is definitely HNDLDR16. Maybe it's case sensitive, it's in all caps. I haven't tried to use it though.

It's in the bottom left hand corner of page 74 in the April 2017 Issue of Handloader magazine. I suppose it could be a misprint, perhaps it should be 17 instead of 16, since it is 2017.

I tried it also . . . it didn't work!

I got the discount during the process . . . UNTIL I tried to "place order"!

Then the order reverted to the regular price PLUS shipping!

Probably have to phone in the order, and talk to a HUMAN to get the 15% off AND free shipping!

I gave it a go just to see if it worked, and it just worked for me. Added the promo code to the cart, went to the payment screen, and shipping showed $0.00 and there was the discount applied as a new line item. Placed the order, and the promotion held through. Maybe you have something in your cart marked "no discounts will be applied" that I see on some of the items in their store?

Now, what to do with the 500 discounted bullets I just ordered...

I tried to use this code and I found that you need to be logged into your account to use it. I tried it without being logged in and it didn't work but once I logged in it worked just fine.

Yep, that's the trick. Same thing happened last year with their ad in Rifleman magazine with the NRA promo code.

I did manage to get the code to work (after logging in first), but in final checkout it did revert to full price. So I hit the back button, re-entered the code and the second time it kept the discount thru the payment screen. Looks like my inventory will get refreshed sooner than I had anticipated.
