Quite a few options are gone, and probably the ones you would expect might have sold out in the initial batch. Weird. I wonder if it's on purpose this time...

If that is the case why are the USMC 40X still listed. I would think these would be top to go?

The rifles that are not listed (from the first listing) are sold out. This is because they honored the early orders after the computer glitch. This is what is available now. Jim

Because of the way the program is administered, there is little possibility the "disappearing" rifles are going to the "early" orders. Rather, the first listing was pronounced to be premature. Obviously, the list did not reflect an accurate inventory. I trust CMP on that.

More likely, and contrary to the earlier suggestion, I think those placing early orders are going to be the ones penalized. In the sense they were aware and attentive to the possibility of release. Acting in good faith and with reasonable expectation placed responsive orders. Now, they (a number I suspect to exceed the available supply) will be comingled with the current orders and the distribution will be shared by the thousands who have been awakened by the activity level.

The 'early bird gets the worm' and as sometimes happens, the second mouse gets the cheese.

The original accidental listing was June 3d, a Friday morning.

I've found I can use Priority mail w/delivery confirmation (under $6) as late as noon Saturday and still get to Anniston on Monday. YMMV, of course.

Default 52C for $500 ?

Actually, the 52D is included on the list of available rifles. And, it is going for $550. Except for the piece of pipe on the latest offer, the 52C is not available.

Any updates on the M12 or 513T's?

Ordered a Service Grade M1917, an H&R M12, and a Remington M513T. Figured I'd be SOL on the M1917 and M513T because those things are going quick it seems.

10/26 - Got my DBU
10/29 - Order opened in E-Store and charge hit my CC

I haven't got any "we regret" emails yet, so I'm still hopeful that I get my full order filled.

CMP = awesome.
