Default "springfield" carbine?

May have been answered before, I did try search. Any way, we know Springfield manufactured barrels, trigger group/guard, slides, sights, stocks and several smaller parts. Does anyone or has anybody seen a carbine with all these parts combined and assembled on one rifle? It would be interesting
to have the phantom carbine!
Thanks,
ShadesCreek

Maybe I am wrong but I remember some years ago that Springfield was selling carbine receivers. I think I saw the ad in SGN. However, I have not seen a complete Springfield carbine.

I saw a SA carbine once. The seller wanted $600 about 7 years ago, and wouldn't budge. I passed. It seemed to be a new receiver, with GI parts.
