Default Grease Pot

I have a grease pot with straight edged bottom (not curved or rounded) but it is filled with Lubriplate (cream color) and is marked Grease, Rifle and Lubriplate 130-A on the lid. Is this a WW2 issue pot? I read somewhere that WW2 pots had curved/rounded edges on the bottom.

Perhaps someone, somewhere has a late top with an early bottom.....but you donít. You have the opposite combination.
