Default 1903A3 Remington 3516XXX

Found at gun show. Shoots better than me. 😏

Couple pics including my 200 yd target with a front rest - took about 5 shots to dial in the sight.

Good Shooting. Your target notes show you shot 200 yards on the SR-1. Try a SR target (intended for 200yd shooting) and I'll bet your group will shrink by virtue of being able to see the aiming black MUCH better.

Gorgeous SC 03-A3! Hard to beat a 03-A3 on the range! Sincerely. bruce.

Thanks - my first time shooting iron sights at 200. Only had 100 targets. 😏 It was hard to see that “little dot” ar 200 yds.

Except that it's a Remington.

Thumbs up

Decent shooting on an SR-1 target at 200 yards. Nice looking rifle. You do need to reduce the size of your pictures before posting though with a photo editing program.

Also, you'll do much better shooting at 200 yards, or even 100 yards, by removing that front sight protector. It does nothing for you while shooting but get in the way. They are not meant to be used as a sight hood or for shooting at all. They were only installed on the rifles for initial transport and removed before actual use. It's too small and too short to be of any practical use.

Thanks for the hood recommendation... I just saw some info on that in these forums the other day. I will do that next time out.

Why? Pics showed fine for me. Sometimes folks post pics that are way too small to see much detail without using the ctrl+ keys to make them bigger, then detail is lost to loss of contrast.
