Default 1943 bolt trade?

looking to trade a complete bolt assembly:

I have a d28287 12SA S-B7<> (11/1943 i think)

I need a d28287 12SA B8 (receiver is 4/1943)

also, for all you gunsmith types, what are the chances that another bolt with the same serial number would have head-space issues? Is this something that can be addressed by a smith or do you just have to try bolt after bolt until you get a good fit?

thanks in advance,
DS

I'm not a gun smith type but I can tell you that it is possible to get headspace issues (I had them). I believe a lot depends on how worn your barrel is also. The one rifle I had more trouble with had higher throat erosion than some others.
