Default M14 buttplate

Does anyone have experience with the rubber unit that replaces the butt plate on the M14? I am hoping it is less slippery but is it. THanks for your insights.

Yes, they are quite stable. The Aim sports M14 butt pads are excellent.

The E2 pad will not fit an M14. So yes, the Aim Sports is better for your application unless you are doing one of those E2 canoe paddle builds.

I've modified several garand stocks to take the rubber M14 pad. They're nice. I use them on my Mini-Gs that I hunt with

Looks like I'll need both pads. One of the Aim pads for standard M14 stock and the other Treeline pad for the M14E2 stock.

Thanks for all the great help and direction.
