Default My SG arrived

Couldn't be happier with this very H&R. Asked for a "nice bore please" on the outside envelope flap and the ME is .8, TE is just under three. It came with a CMP stock but I had a Win 13 stock for this one. It has a H&R hammer HRA 12-54 barrel and the rest is SA. Gosh, I should go buy a powerball ticket!

Outstanding looking rifle. Congratulations! I think HRA Garands are the best made rifles. And do go buy a Powerball ticket and a scratch off ticket.

HRA Garands do have the best finishes on both the metal and wood but I've seen some late 5 mil and 6 mil SA's that are a close second.

Sakorick, that sure is a nice looking rifle. Congrats!

Cool

Too nice of a H&R rifle to use that Winnie-13 stock on, better send that stock to me for proper disposal

That stock has a story. It was on a VFW or AL color guard where someone sanded it to make it look good. So it has no cartouches and the only way to tell what it's a Winnie is to remove the stock and see the short channel. So now it's a HRChester.
