Ordered RM1SERVICE

Mailed: 11/11 although assume 11/13 actual USPS movement.
Delivered: Didn't track
Order Received: 11/15
DBU: 11/20
Estore: 11/21
CC Hit: 11/21
Shipped: 11/26
Received: 11/27

Sticked for mid to late 50s with original stock. Got a 5.7million HRA with original stock. Decent shape, barrel is original I am guessing. Marked 2-56. ME 1+, TE 2. Good deal I think!

Ordered one M1D RG and one RM1SERVICE

Mailed 11/14
Delivered 11/16
DBU- 11/21
E-Store- 11/21
CC hit- 11/21
Shipped- 11/26
Received- 11/27

M1D RG arrived ME 3 TE 6. USGI stock with grenade sight holes drilled and 3/8" DAS. Metal finish is great and better than most FG's that I've received in the past. Very happy.

UPDATE 12/2: The 4.69 HRA SG I received with a split WRA stock is being taken care of by customer service. They're swapping my stock for a shootable one that meets the service grade product description. I'm glad they're taking care of it but I think I'll be picking out my rifles by hand at the SS in the future. Unfortunately the only thing HRA on the rifle is the receiver, barrel is a 7/44 SA but that's the way it goes.

Ordered (1) IHC Special 30-06 and (5) field grades.

The last CMP Garand I ordered was in August 2005. Timeline appears to be much, much faster these days.

Mailed 11/13
Delivered 11/16
DBU- never received
E-Store- ? Noticed I can't login anymore on 11/21...something changed
CC hit- 11/21
Shipped-11/26
Received-11/27

I would say overall I am quite happy with the rifles I received today. All five field grades are Springfields and only one is post-war. Two are six digit serial numbers. All five have very rough stocks, but I see very little pitting in the metal, and nice finishes on all.

The IHC Special Grade is obviously the star of the show. I intend to win the National Garand Match with it.

I'm a little disturbed with the fact that I never received an email, or shipping confirmation, that I was unable to login into my estore account, that customer service told me it was just site maintenance and to just keep trying. All of that could be improved. BUT...considering my last Garand order was a couple months of wait and see, we've come light years, and for that I can not really complain. I received six M1s, to my door, 14 days from dropping my order in the mail, with Veterans Day and Thanksgiving both playing a role in the order timeline. Very impressive turnaround.

Now off to the scrub, grease, and shoot. God bless the CMP, and I'll see you at Camp Perry.

Sure you don't want two more? Why stop at six?

I'm driving a van with five friends to Camp Perry next year, trying to grow the sport. Six of us are going to compete in the Infantry trophy match as a Garand team, and the shoot the GSM matches the following days. None of these folks are diehard competitive shooters yet, so I'm loaning the rifles and providing the ammo.

Hope to see you there.

1x Service Grade

Mailed: 11/13
Delivered: 11/15
DBU: 11/21
E-store: 11/29
SN added: 11/30 S/N 5.739 range. Looks like it'll be an HRA post war.
CC charged: 11/29
Shipped: 12/3
Received: 12/4

I'm pretty satisfied with condition. Stock is dark and a little dinged up but appears solid and well fitting. I haven't dated anything and I haven't pulled upper wood off to look at barrel markings but tag said 1+/1 so Im thrilled with that. Trigger housing is old milled style and I'm very happy to see that. OP rod is a SA, bolt is an HRA. there's a P marking on the grip area of the stock I need to research. Receiver legs say RRAD 9-64 so Red River Army Depot rebuild in the 60's. Exciting to see what else I find and piece it all together.

Waited far too long for a gun I should have ordered many years ago.
