Default Cheaper Than Dirt has .30 carbine on sale

I don't know if this is a good deal or not but I had an e-mail from CTD advertising several sale items, one of which was 250 rounds of .30 carbine loose packed, new manufacture, American made, for $89.59 plus shipping. Like I said, don't know if it's a good deal or not, I don't own a carbine, just thought I'd put it out there.

Looks like it might be a decent deal...not familiar with the manufacturer.

Is that the AMERC stuff? If so, the brass is absolute garbage. It's reloadable but it goes straight to the scrap bucket when I pick it up.

Here's what a couple of guys on the M14 Forum had to say about it. It is remanufactured ammo, and it's Cheaper Than Gold.

And a review from Nebraska Firearms Forum.

I won't/don't shop there any longer. To bad, some great deals in the past. I think this outfit was among the first to gouge when the .22 lr drought hit.

There is no such thing as gouging. And the one and only thing that allows sellers to raise their prices when demand goes up, is the same thing that forces them to lower them when demand goes down. That is the people buying. Prices on firearm related stuff is at extreme lows and I am surprised crybabies aren't whining about that.

"Oh my, how dare they lower their prices so low right when I don't have any money. I will never shop from them again because their prices will be higher than they are now."

I'm not sure those links are for the .30 carbine ammo?

The reviews on CTD are not too bad, anyone have any experience with these .30 carbine rounds? Or have a good source for .30 carbine ammo that is plinking quality?

For the same or similar price, I would buy PRVI or Aguila from Widener's or SGAMMO all day long.

Pretty much this. Why buy remanufactured ammo from an unknown loader through an unpopular retailer, when you can buy factory new from others for the same price?
